With Steve Karlin as their guide, teachers will rediscover their potential, renew their abilities, and enhance their creativity. To provide powerful direct learning experiences for teachers, Steve utilizes "Natural Systems Teaching," a highly specialized educational methodology that uses living wildlife within an experiential learning environment. Teachers emerge with a new world of knowledge, enhanced creativity, and focus in their lives, eager to return to the classroom and continue to educate a whole new generation of youth. Teachers appreciate being able to take what they learn in this workshop and directly apply it in the classroom.
Steve Karlin, Founder and Executive Director of Wildlife Associates, teaches these workshops with the "Wild Teachers." Steve is a nationally renowned environmental educator. He serves as Chairman of the North American Association of Wildlife Lecturers and Chairman of the Curriculum Advisory Board at America's Teaching Zoo, a division of Moorpark College. Steve's 33 years of experience also include leading groups of teachers on guided trips throughout South America, teaching them about native species and the natural systems on which all life depends.
Workshops run from ½ day workshops to weekend seminars, depending on your schedule. For more information about scheduling or attending a workshop, contact us at 1-800-244-WILD. Please be sure to check out the 2008 Schedule for our
